22nd annual NHRA Nevada Nationals

Parking for the Pro cars started yesterday morning and the first sportsman qualifying session kicks off at 9:00 AM Thursday. Pro and Top Alcohol qualifying runs Friday and Saturday, with four sessions for the pros and three for the alcohol cars. Two rounds of eliminations for the alcohol cars run Saturday with the final two rounds on Sunday, along with all pro eliminations.

In addition, there were be 12 Legends Nitro Funny Cars running as an exhibition feature. All of the invited cars ran as part of the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series in 2022, and they will join the "Big Show" throughout the weekend. They've got two qualifying sessions scheduled on Friday, two rounds of eliminations for the 8-car field on Saturday, and the final on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully the cars, drivers, and teams can do the quickaround from competing at the Hot Rod Reunion last weekend and be ready to put on a good show at Las Vegas this week.
