TAD National Points Standings - July 26, 2021

Making the biggest move in the Top Alcohol Dragster standings over the weekend was Rachel Meyer as she jumped from a third-place tie with Shawn Cowie to the top of the standings with her win at the Heartland Motorsports Park event at Topeka, KS. Her final round competitor, Jared Dreher made an even bigger move, from somewhere in the 30's to a tie for 21st place. Other racers advancing were semi-finalists James Stevens, from #8 to #5, and moving into the Top Ten for the first time this season, Robin Samsel, climbing from #11 to #8 in the standings.

TAFC National Points Standings - July 26, 2021

With just a five-car field at Topeka, that included just two Top Ten runners, there wasn't as much movement in the Top Alcohol Funny Car standings. Event runner-up, Bob McCosh Jr. gained 21 points, but remained well back of #2 Doug Gordon, still 74 points behind him. Winning the race was Kyle Smith, who leaped from #19 into the Top Ten, at #10 in the standings. Despite a surprising first-round exit, Chris Foster climbed from #15 to #11, just two points behind Smith on the table. One other Top Tenner, Kris Hool lost in the semi-finals and waived his points to remain in the #5 position.
