NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster & Funny Car Standings

There is one correction (actually, a few) to make to the NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car standings, as Dan Pomponio, who ran at last weekend's North Central regional event, earned 10 points for his qualifying attempt during the first session on Friday. The car broke after the burnout, and never came out of the pits for the rest of the event, so he wasn't listed on the qualifying sheets as he never staged the car under power. However, because he made an attempt to run, he earned the 10 "participation" points, which kept him in the Top Ten at #9 and left Matt Gill in #10 and Tony Bogolo in the #11 position.
