Shawn Cowie wins the Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals presented by Pennzoil

The points battle for the Top Alcohol Dragster championship intensified in a big way when Shawn Cowie took full advantage of Megan Meyer's absence during eliminations to take the event win and jump back into the lead in the point standings. And in Top Alcohol Funny Car, Doug Gordon won his first championship when the defending champion, Greg Bellemeur lost in the semi-finals. Congratulations to the BETA Motorcylces gang on a very well-deserved championship. The standings going into the final two races of the season are below.
