Nearing the promised land
Today will be a very long drive from Amarillo to Kingman, Arizona. MapQuest says it's nearly 12 hours, and it could be all of that and more as I'll be driving a preserved section of the orgiinal Route 66 from Seligman to Kingman, through Peach Springs and a few ghost towns. Should be fun, but it's going to be a long day. At least the weather looks good. More news tonight or tomorrow.
