The latest update as of May 11, 1999

Not much to report, other than: another day, another blownup computer. At this rate, we'll go through Australia's entire stock of "dodgy boxes" before the end of the week... and before we ever get online.

At least Tom is making progress... slow, but steady on the cylinder head porting. At his current rate of production though, we'll be lucky to get the second set of heads ready for the Winternationals. Oh well, tomorrow's another day and who knows what mysteries or adventures it will bring.

A little ray of sunshine broke through the clouds when the FedEx driver pulled up with a very large box full of equipment from Canada. Our intake manifold, which was just too big, not to mention heavy (we finally got around to scaling it -- 30 pounds), to fit in the suitcases for the flight down. Pretty good delivery service on the shipment too; only 5 days from Vancouver. Intact, cleared customs with no problems. Too easy, mate.
