Are you just a spectator, or...
DO YOU WANT TO GO FAST?!

Then the
Northwest Drag
Racing School
IS FOR YOU!!!

Do You Feel The Need For Speed?

It has finally arrived!!

For a long time, Canadian motorsports enthusiasts have had to travel to the Southern or Eastern United States to experience the drag racing speed experience if they don't want to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a race car of their own, or those who would like to step up and run faster than the car they currently compete in. The 40-50% exchange rate on the US dollar makes the school experience out of reach for lots of us. A $1500 school now becomes $2500 plus the travel costs and other expenses.

Our school uses two state of the art Rear Engined Dragsters, based on your "need for speed". The first car is a 160mph Super Comp Dragster. The second car is really two cars in one. This Dragster is designed for teaching two different classes. The first class is for one of the most exciting new classes to hit drag racing in the NorthWest: The Advanced ET or Top Comp Class. These cars run 160mph to 200mph + in only seven seconds.

The other class is for the "hold on to your helmet, hair straight back, need for speed, adrenaline rushing, thrown back in your seat, ultimate drag racing experience!" Top Alcohol (Federal-Mogul) Dragster!! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, six second, 210mph+ runs down the 1/4 mile are within your reach and budget.

If you were to go out on your own, and run one of these behemoths, you would be looking at close to $100,000 for all that is needed. We take care of everything for you. For as little as $2,995 you can make runs down the 1/4 mile in under seven seconds at speeds approaching 200mph.

All our Drag Racing programs provide excitement for whatever your thrill level is. Safety is our utmost priority, so we have multiple levels for each race car, depending on your experience and your goals. Of course with each class you have the ability to apply for and receive your NHRA Competition Licence if you meet the requirements.

School classes are as follows:
2 day Super Comp School: $1495.00 (includes 6 runs)

This school is designed for the person with some drag racing experience. Whether he or she has competed in the past, or is currently running a race car but would like to upgrade to an 8-second 150+ mph rear engined dragster. The first day is in the classroom. We teach all of the safety aspects of drag racing, and we familiarize you with the race car. The second day you are in the seat, for the thrill of a lifetime. Your entire day is spent on the track. Between runs we go over everything you did, to help you advance confidently and safely. (To receive your NHRA Competition Licence, you must have your NHRA Medical completed and then pass the driver requirements set forth by NHRA). This school price does not guarantee your licence, but you can purchase extra runs if necessary at $150.00 per pass. This class is limited to three students per session.

3 day Super Comp School: $1995.00 (includes 8 runs)

This will probably be our most popular school. It is for the first time racer, or for those who have been out of racing for a while. Safety is the first priority in this class, and students will progress at their own level. Because of this, space is limited. Extra time is spent one on one to ensure that you are confident and able to safely drive a 150mph race car. Again, if you are attempting to receive your licence, all requirements must be met. There is no guarantee that you will receive your licence. Additional passes may be required.

2 day Advanced ET School: $2995.00

Now you are getting into the cockpit of a 2000+hp Federal-Mogul Dragster. This car is set up and tuned for the driver who has some racing experience: He or she wants to step up to a car that is capable of speeds approaching 200mph and times hovering in the high six-second, low seven-second range. The above price is based on speeds of mid 170-180's mph and ET's of 7.3-7.4 seconds. If you wish to run right at the top of the class, ie: 6.60-6.90 at speeds in the 200mph range, then the price of the class increases to $3295.00. This can be decided at the school on your date.

You currently have a competition licence and wish to upgrade. The first day is theory based. You will go through all the aspects of driving a car equipped with a clutch activated three speed Lenco transmission. You will leave at a higher rpm from the starting line, so it is quite a sensation of 1-2 g's of acceleration. At the end of the 1/4 mile you will deploy one or two parachutes so you will also experience negative "g" forces. Again, safety is the most important aspect of drag racing, and we will teach all the safety requirements necessary to confidently reach your goal.

3 day Advanced ET School: $3995.00

This class includes the Super Comp class and the two day Advanced ET class all rolled into one. All of the 2 day course is included with extra emphasis on teaching. The 3 day school is designed for the person who wants the full experience. Day one is strictly classroom teaching and static car orientation. Day 2 and 3 are spent on the race track in the car. You will gradually progress at your own speed, down the track until you are making full, hard charging runs down the 1/4 at speeds approaching 200mph. Again, the price of the course is based on 7.3-7.4 ET's at 170-180mph. An additional $300.00 would be charged if you would like to run in the 6-second range at 200mph.

2 day Federal-Mogul Dragster School: $4995.00

High horsepower, big thrills. This is for the motorsports enthusiast who craves the need for speed. This applicant currently has their Super Comp or Advanced ET Licence and wants to run in the top category of NHRA Sportsman racing. These cars are the highlight of every Division's Federal-Mogul Drag Racing Series events. You will be strapped into a 2000 horsepower methanol (alcohol) fueled race car. This car is capable of 5-second 230mph runs down the 1/4 mile. You will be making passes quicker than 6.3 seconds at speeds close to 220mph. What a rush!! Again, safety is the major concern for all the schools and you will be thoroughly trained in all aspects of safely competing at the race track.
